Position Summary: Provide support to Customer Operations by creating dashboard and business models that present financial and customer data in order to facilitate effective decision-making and operational reporting. This position requires the preparation of dashboard, reports and analysis, development of SQL queries and automation of operational reports and processes. Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting the Team Manager of Analytics in updating and enhancing monthly and quarterly management reports and board slides Develop new and refactor existing queries to extract information needed to support departmental and adhoc reports Prepare detailed trend analysis, business models, and develop links that are critical in understanding accounts receivable, revenue, operating expenses, cash receipts and collections Assess and make recommendations for Customer Operations to improve profitability, cash receipts and customer service Develop and deliver automated operations reports and maintain or update as required Perform and report on sensitivity and financial analysis to monitor and evaluate the financial performance of proposed cash receipt improvement and commercial account management strategies Assist with the preparation of future oriented financial information (i.e. annual budget/forecasts) including Financial Operations costs, Revenue Reserves and Cash Receipts Understand and analyze potential opportunities and risks and provide recommendations to management Work with different areas of the business analyzing drivers and identifying upcoming financial issues or opportunities Create and update dashboards using Tableau or Power BI Identify areas of opportunity to make operations efficient through automation where possible Improve business processes by providing new or enhanced financial reporting Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and/or Finance/Accounting Designation (or equivalent work experience) preferred (minimum 5 years of experience) Relevant experience in a BI & reporting role Additional courses in basic programming, such as SQL, is required Proficient with Power BI, AWS Redshift, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook An understanding of Accounting and Billing Systems and their related database structure Proficiency in quantitative analysis Work with different areas of the business analyzing drivers and identifying upcoming financial issues or opportunities Commitment to personal growth and development Good organization and leadership skills About 407 ETR Highway 407 ETR is an all-electronic open-access toll highway located in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada.
