Your Role and Responsibilities
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supervising all maintenance activities.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a liaison with all departments, ensuring coordination with other teams such as flight operations, customer service, and sales to guarantee that maintenance activities are integrated into MRO operations;
Supervise the maintenance of all aircraft in the Starlink fleet for daily maintenance tasks and ensure they are ready for flight operations;
Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with the MPM and safety procedures;
Manage personnel (excluding performance evaluations and disciplinary actions handled by the PRM);
Manage and organize AME schedules, including overtime control;
Coordinate hangar movements;
Work with the purchaser to manage tooling and external services, if required;
Oversee routine maintenance and inspections, including updating navigation databases;
Manage configuration changes;
Supervise departures and arrivals with available on-site technicians;
Manage AOGs (Aircraft on Ground) and off-site deployments or unscheduled maintenance;
Plan medium-term maintenance (+/- 75 hours) for specific medical evacuation aircraft to ensure proper and efficient operation;
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with MPM, MCM, and safety procedures;
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, work orders, and inspection reports;
Monitor items listed under Minimum Equipment Lists (MELs);
Ensure updates for the next maintenance item are recorded in the aircraft logbook;
Manage staff schedules and monitor overtime;
Maintain an organized and clean work environment;
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, using only company-approved equipment and materials.
