Intern, Learning & Development
This is a full-time summer internship lasting from May 11, 2026, until August 28, 2026.
Job Summary
The Intern, Learning and Development supports efforts related to the development and deployment of learning initiatives and communications. The role partners with the Learning and Development (L&D) team to develop and implement company-wide training solutions.
Main Responsibilities
Work on key projects and programs related to regulatory, compliance and function specific learning assignments and mandatory training
Support instructor led training logistics and coordination across the CN network with the deployment team
Assist in the preparation of comprehensive documents, including briefing notes for systems, presentations, and communications
Test configuration settings in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and
e-learning Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) packages
Ensure training products follow quality guidelines such as accuracy, completeness, learning effectiveness, and track deliverables
Requirements

Be open to coaching and integrate learnings and feedback
Take ownership of the execution of assigned tasks
Show curiosity and awareness of CN and its success methods
Fluently bilingual, both written and verbal (English, French)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with LMS, survey platforms and Canva
Education
Bachelor's Degree in progress, preferably in a field related to Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or Business Administration (with a major or minor in Human Resources)
Certified Human Resources Professional (CRHA)Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
