The Opportunity:
We're looking for a detail-oriented HR Reporting & Systems Analyst to join our People & Culture team.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, HR Systems, the HR Reporting & Systems Analyst will be responsible for design, enhancement, and maintenance of complex employee data reports and dashboards, with a strong focus on leveraging Workday reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, a deep understanding of HR metrics, and hands-on experience with Workday reporting tools, security, and HCM domain knowledge.

What your day looks like:
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize custom employee data reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and discovery boards within Workday and related tools
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into customized technical reporting solutions and actionable insights
Act as the first point of contact for all HR reporting inquiries and ad-hoc reporting requests, providing data analysis to guide strategic HR decisions
Deliver and maintain enterprise-wide self-service dashboards and scheduled reporting
Monitor and improve reporting processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency to elevate data analytics
Support audit activities by conducting data validation to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all HR systems
Create and utilize EIBs to support mass data updates, ensuring data quality
Support basic configuration activities, including maintaining business processes, validation rules, conditions, and alerts
Maintain documentation of reporting processes, data definitions, and report catalogues
Stay current with Workday updates and industry best practices to continuously improve reporting/analytics knowledge and capabilities
Support HR Systems team with requests and maintenance on a day-to-day basis and for special projects
Your experience and skills:
Post-secondary degree/diploma in computer science, human resources, data analytics, information systems management, or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years of progressive experience with HR reporting and data analytics within Workday
Advanced proficiency in Workday reporting (advanced, matrix, trending, and composite reports), calculated fields, dashboards, and discovery boards
Solid foundation in Workday security and configuration, especially as it relates to report design and access
Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Advanced Reports, and Dashboards
Strong understanding of HR strategy and systems across all areas of HR, and experience with HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, DEIB, and workforce planning
Proven experience with creating, maintaining, and launching EIBs to support mass data updates
Advanced knowledge of Excel functions
Advanced attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Workday Pro HCM Reporting Certification would be an asset
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) would be an asset
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration and communication skills with a passion for providing exceptional client service and a focus on the end-user experience
Solid analytical and critical thinking skills including the demonstrated ability to navigate and optimize complex systems, workflows, and data-driven processes
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information with familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards (e.g. PIPEDA)
Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French would be an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
