About the Manager, Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy:
This is a key role on a small, dynamic team: perfect for someone who’s energized by outreach, loves building relationships, and takes pride in turning conversations into commitments. You’ll oversee two major portfolios — corporate partnerships and individual giving — while also strengthening our operational systems for stewardship, reporting, and CRM management. You’ll work closely with the Director to secure new funding opportunities, deliver exceptional partner experiences, and grow a sustainable base of individual and corporate supporters.
Role Responsibilities:
Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorships
Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of existing corporate partners, ensuring timely renewals, strong stewardship, and the delivery of contractual commitments.
Lead the planning and execution of corporate deliverables such as employee engagement events, sponsorship activations, reporting, and content features.
Lead the preparation and delivery of impact and stewardship reports for corporate partners.
Collaborate with the Director to build a corporate sponsorship sales strategy that leverages VFC’s community, programs, and events — developing compelling, sellable benefits and activation opportunities for sponsors.
Identify and cultivate new corporate partnership and sponsorship prospects through research, networking, and creative outreach.
Support the development of sponsorship materials, decks, and case studies that articulate VFC’s value to prospective sponsors and partners.
Individual Giving
Develop and execute VFC’s annual giving strategy to retain and grow our base of individual donors.
Plan and deliver donor communications, stewardship touchpoints, and impact reporting for annual and monthly donors.
Lead engagement campaigns targeting donors and alumni, encouraging them to give back to support the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Support the Director in identifying potential mid-level or major gift prospects from the annual giving base.
Manage donor recognition, receipting, and acknowledgment processes in collaboration with Finance and Operations.
Administration, Systems, and Reporting
Serve as the organizational lead for CRM management (Keela), ensuring accurate gift entry, tracking, and reporting.
Generate development reports and dashboards to support forecasting, stewardship, and decision-making.
Maintain accurate records of donor and partner interactions and oversee data integrity.
Support the Director in coordinating internal processes for fundraising communications, partnership deliverables, and impact reporting.
Job Requirements:
4+ years of experience in a fundraising role, or equivalent.
Experience managing corporate partnerships or sponsorships, including stewardship, renewals, and the delivery of partner commitments.
Strong writing and reporting skills, with experience producing impact or stewardship reports for external stakeholders.
Ability to develop sales or sponsorship strategies, including prospecting, outreach, and crafting compelling partner benefits.
Experience managing donor programs or annual giving, including communications, stewardship, and engagement campaigns.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage corporate partners, donors, and alumni.
Excellent organizational and project-management abilities, with experience coordinating cross-functional processes and maintaining data accuracy.
