Job Description
Maintain broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in all Canadian employment labor and employment laws to ensure proper execution of all people operations at designated airports. Primary liaison for all union-related activity for all locations. Work in a hands-on capacity, lead expectations and remain intimately involved in all human resources functional operations for an assigned region (e.g., wage/hour, employee relations, safety, labor/employment, union compliance, new unit openings, talent acquisition, retention, benefits, training/development/performance management, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree in human resources and 10+ years’ progressive HR experience delivering results in a similar corporate position, preferably in the hospitality, food service/food and beverage, restaurant, or airport industry. Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) preferred; union experience required. Ideal candidate must be able to work both independently and among cross-functional teams with minimal supervision, juggling heavy workloads and multiple tasks while adapting quickly.
Position is regular, full-time, salaried, remote role reporting to the VP, People. Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship, and able to travel and perform work
