Job Description:
Responsible for opening and/ or closing shop
Receive incoming stock on a timely basis
Inventory control processes as directed by shop manager
Providing assistance to volunteers at either the cash desk or back desk as required
Sustaining good working relations with all gift shop volunteers
Training new volunteers on the point of sale system
Ensuring that policies of the shop are followed at all times
Keeping merchandise replenished and tidy
Resolve customer complaints where applicable
Lead by example
Other duties as required
Experience in the wholesale/retail industry is preferable
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other related systems. Comfortable with learning systems and generating reports.
Able to work in a team as well as independently.
