Job Description
This role leads Klick’s organic search and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) capability across healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. It brings together SEO, content, technical strategy, and AI-driven discovery to help brands show up accurately and compliantly across search and generative platforms. The leader in this role shapes frameworks, tools, and workflows that support visibility, governance, and performance across a rapidly changing search ecosystem.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead the development of organic search and GEO strategies for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients
• Build and guide a cross-functional team spanning SEO, technical specialists, content, analytics, and GEO disciplines
• Design frameworks that optimize sites and content for generative engines and structured data environments
• Partner with medical, regulatory, content, and creative teams to ensure content is discoverable and compliant
• Develop measurement frameworks that assess visibility, engagement, and GEO-specific performance
Qualifications
Required:
• 10+ years in digital marketing with 5+ years leading organic search programs (agency experience preferred)
• Experience building SEO or organic search programs within regulated industries
• Deep expertise in technical SEO, content optimization, information architecture, and site performance
• Hands-on experience with emerging generative search or GEO approaches
• Ability to define metrics, analyze performance, and use data to guide recommendations
• Strong collaboration and client-facing communication skills across cross-functional teams
Desired:
• Experience with pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life-sciences clients
• Background in global or international SEO or GEO initiatives
• Familiarity with AI-driven content tools and their relationship to search visibility
• Experience selecting or managing SEO/GEO technology platforms
• Budget, vendor, or P&L-related leadership experience
• Ability to support thought leadership and internal capability development
