About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Video & Content Creator who can support our fast-growing home-services and franchising company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible, project-based environment and can produce high-quality video content that drives both siding customer leads and franchise development leads.
You will work remotely, collaborating with our marketing and franchise development teams to create polished, brand-aligned video content. You will also occasionally travel to record conferences, franchise gatherings, and field content.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Production
Film and produce video content for:
Siding lead generation (project showcases, educational content, testimonials)
Franchise development (FD videos, interviews, webinar clips, events)
Internal corporate communications and training content
Capture and record conferences, franchise events, and on-site activities (2–3 trips annually)
Editing & Post-Production
Edit footage into polished, professional videos with:
Clean cuts
Branded graphics, logos, and lower thirds
Captions/subtitles
Basic motion graphics when needed
Deliver final content optimized for various platforms:
LinkedIn
YouTube
Instagram/Reels/Shorts
Internal communication channels
Collaboration & Creative Input
Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Director of Franchise Development to:
Build a content plan
Develop scripts/storyboards
Identify the highest-impact video opportunities
Manage and organize video files and maintain consistent branding
Provide creative ideas and recommendations based on best practices and trends
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
Strong portfolio demonstrating videography + editing
Proficiency with editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
Ability to shoot clean video with good lighting, framing, and audio
Experience creating content for social media + digital marketing
Ability to work independently and deliver on deadlines
Availability to travel 2–3 times per year
Preferred
Experience filming at job sites, events, conferences, or interviews
Comfort directing people on camera (interviews, testimonials, how-to videos)
Basic motion graphics skills
Understanding of branding, marketing funnels, and lead-generation strategies
Working Style & Hours
Part-time as needed (project-based weekly availability)
Flexible hours: work around your own schedule
Occasional Travel: 2–3 times per year for events, conferences, franchise gatherings, and occasional on-site shoots
Most communication done via remote meetings and async messaging
Paid hourly at $45–$60/hr (depending on experience)
Additional travel costs are reimbursed
