ABOUT THE ROLE
The Executive Administrative Assistant / Office Administrator performs duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of an office. This includes managing communications such as answering phones and emails, handling administrative tasks including scheduling, ordering supplies, maintaining records and coordinating office activities and events. Will act as point of contact for visitors, clients and vendors.

Essential Functions
Coordinate Office Activities and Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the SLS Construction offices located in Langley BC, including managing administrative tasks and office workflows.
Maintain Office Supplies and Equipment: Monitor and replenish office supplies, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
Facilities Management: Collaborate with building management to address and resolve any facility-related issues, ensuring the office environment is well-maintained
Vendor Management: Work with vendors to address and resolve issues specific to the Thornton office, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Scheduling and Calendar Management: Handle scheduling and calendar management for the Thornton office, including arranging calls and meetings for senior executives.
Executive Support: Assist the executive management team with ad hoc projects, providing administrative and logistical support as needed. Responsibilities include scheduling of meetings and helping in preparation of material for meetings.
Financial Documentation: Collaborate with the Controller groups to ensure accurate documentation of financial meeting minutes, particularly for end-of-month financial calls.
Event Planning: Arrange and coordinate office events for holidays, retirements, celebrations, and service anniversaries, ensuring successful execution.
Project Support: Assist with special projects and initiatives, providing research, data analysis, and administrative support.

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of executive support and/or progressively-responsible administrative experience
Preferred Education
High school diploma or GED is required
Associate's degree in business, management or related field is beneficial
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Strong commitment to safety
Detail-oriented
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary
Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
