We are looking for a strategic, hands-on communicator who can confidently shape direction and execute from concept to completion. The ideal candidate is someone who can take an idea, build the plan, create the content, manage timelines and assets, and evaluate results with minimal guidance.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing and Campaign Leadership
Develop and lead integrated marketing plans that support fundraising priorities, donor engagement, and signature events.
Create campaign timelines, deliverables, content plans, and evaluation metrics.
Ensure brand consistency and alignment with organizational goals across all platforms.
Content Strategy and Editorial Oversight
Lead the creation of compelling storytelling across digital channels, donor communications, newsletters, stewardship pieces, event content, and internal messaging.
Translate complex hospital and philanthropy topics into clear and meaningful language.
Review and refine content created by internal contributors and external partners.
Digital Strategy and Optimization
Manage social media presence, website content, and email platforms with a proactive and strategic approach.
Build and deploy email campaigns in Mailchimp including segmentation, automation, testing, and reporting.
Design and update marketing assets in Canva.
Create and update digital campaign and donation pages using Raisin or similar platforms.
Track performance analytics and adjust strategies based on insights.
Event, Media, and External Communications
Lead development of event collateral including invitations, signage, scripts, digital assets, and follow up communications.
Capture live content at events for storytelling and stewardship.
Draft media releases, speaking notes, and public messaging when required.
Project Management and Workflow Coordination
Manage timelines, deliverables, and collaboration across internal departments.
Coordinate freelancers, agencies, and creative partners.
Maintain organized asset libraries, project files, and version control.
Work closely with fundraising and stewardship teams to ensure alignment and a consistent voice.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Track campaign and channel performance and share insights.
Recommend improvements based on data, trends, and audience engagement.
Qualifications
5 to 7 years of progressive experience in marketing and communications.
Strong writing and editing skills tailored to multiple audiences.
Experience with Mailchimp, Canva, Raisin or similar donation and campaign platforms, and basic CMS tools.
Ability to interpret analytics and apply insights to strategy.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or donor-centered environments is an asset.
Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM platforms is preferred.
