Synopsis of the role We are looking for a Billing & Code Management Specialist to join our growing team, who is self directed with strong leadership skills, and a customer service focus to ensure accurate billing related activities are completed for projects. Billing & Code Management Specialist is responsible for processing all billing & code management activities for special projects. The Billing & Code Management Specialist will work directly to support Customer & Consumers along with the Consumer Operations, Breach Support, project managers, sales representatives, billing services and finance. What you’ll do Work directly with customers, project managers, sales representatives, finance & accounting staff to create accurate and timely billing instructions for all offline billings. Will interact directly with customers to issue codes and respond to related inquiries. Will manage all code tracking and issue resolution based on customer requests. Maintain a detailed and up to date reconciliation of codes. Complete billings for codes in a timely and accurate manner to meet the respective monthly timelines. This includes but is not limited to subscription setup, submission of BAU billing advice and other related tasks. Ensure that all partnership calculations have been implemented with the utmost accuracy, in order to guarantee a 100% error free rate. Maintain databases where all pricing related information is retained and updated. Provide generic & customized billing reports to customers, project managers and sales representatives, by using Microsoft Office, Google Suite and other internal systems for valid, up to date information. Complete monthly accruals and reconciliations, for internal forecasting (GL). Calculate and process all credit adjustments due to new price agreements with retroactive effective dates and other requirements. Communicate and resolve concerns to sales and customers, regarding price quotation, discrepancies, and/or any other issues related to invoicing and pricing. Able to handle regular and urgent requests for new and existing billings. Conduct investigations to support business & customers with findings. Process mapping, documentation and process improvement for billing & code management. What experience you need Post-secondary education (Diploma or equivalent). 2-3 years of working experience in a billing environment and/or code management. Proficient working with numbers, strong Analytical, listening and problem solving skills Apply critical thinking to understand business needs and come up with solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with team members, self-motivated, self-directed and able to work independently, with minimum supervision. Strong organizational skills and interpersonal abilities. Intermediate Google Suite and Advanced MS Office skills (Excel). Experience with JIRA/Confluence. What could set you apart Bachelor Degree in a related field. Previous financial services experience.
