Job Description
CEDA is currently looking to hire a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector for our Bonnyville Alberta region. This position requires candidates to live local to the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area
This posting is also open to Direct Service Providers.

$65.00 per hour

Shift 5x2 with lots of overtime! (weekends as required)
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Support shop & site projects; by educating and engaging all project personnel in all aspects of CEDA’s Quality Management System
Establish and maintain project quality control job files
Index creation, progressive maintenance and timely submission of project turnover documentation as per client requirements
Assign and verify compliance to company weld procedures
Manage project Non-Destructive Testing subcontractor and verify NDE compliance to project requirements
Prepare hydro test packages, verify completion of pre/post-hydro activities and witness hydro testing, creation of regulatory data sheets (AB-83, etc.)
Maintain records of non-conformance, corrective & preventive actions; communicate information to all relevant parties and ensure timely closeout of the agreed actions
Provide trouble-shooting expertise to manage any and all quality related issues that arise
Qualifications:
3+ years’ of experience as a quality control inspector is required
CWB level 2 certification is preferred (will accept a Level 1 with solid experience)
Experience in a in a construction or fabrication environment is required
Valid Class 5 licence with clean abstract
Ability to navigate computer programs such as Blue Beam and Microsoft suite of products including Word and Excel
Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDA
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
Ability to work with limited supervision, in a team environment
Strong organization, prioritization, and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
