Program Overview - Independent Contractors
We’re seeking experienced copywriters who can craft compelling and concise content across a range of channels — from website and social media to press materials, fundraising campaigns, and reports.
WoodGreen engages third party-vendors to support staff on projects on an as needed basis and eager to gather a list of pre-screened vendors to be added to our vendor list.
Responsibilities:
Develop clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate copy aligned with WoodGreen’s brand voice and messaging.
Support campaign, donor, and program communications.
Edit and proofread existing materials for accuracy and tone consistency.
Collaborate with designers and videographers to create cohesive narratives.
Qualifications:
Proven writing experience across multiple formats (digital, print, and media).
Strong understanding of storytelling for non-profit and community audiences.
Exceptional attention to detail and grammar.
Portfolio required: Please include 2–3 writing samples or a link to your portfolio.
