Overview:
As the Logistics Manager, you are responsible for optimizing Greenhouse’s delivery and staging strategy, managing finished goods inventory, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective fulfillment operations. You oversee staging, finished goods warehousing, delivery, and transport while balancing exceptional customer service with operational efficiency.
Your leadership ensures that staging and delivery processes run smoothly, inventory is accurately tracked in the inventory management system, and the logistics team achieves measurable goals. You collaborate with internal teams and third-party distribution partners to expand Greenhouse’s reach, troubleshoot fulfillment issues, and continually improve cost efficiencies and service quality.

Driver Accuracy: Achieve and sustain 100% delivery accuracy by drivers.
Staging Accuracy: Ensure 100% accuracy in staging operations.
Budget Adherence: Maintain staging and delivery costs within or below the approved budget plan.
Delivery Timeliness: Achieve 98% on-time delivery rate for all customer orders.
Inventory Accuracy: Ensure inbound/outbound full goods transactions are 98% accurate in the inventory management system.
Statement of Work & Responsibilities:
Delivery and Scheduling:
Schedule staff and route deliveries in an optimized manner to meet customer requirements at the lowest cost.
Collaborate with third-party distribution partners to expand delivery reach, resolve errors, and improve overall accuracy.
Schedule delivery appointments with customers to ensure 98% on-time delivery compliance.
Process Optimization:
Streamline and optimize staging, delivery, and transportation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Continually review costs associated with logistics operations, achieving the best cost per bottle, case, or drop.
Introduce process improvements to minimize staging errors and maximize delivery accuracy.
Manage 3PL relationships end-to-end, including onboarding, performance tracking against SLAs, issue resolution, and ongoing cost and service optimization.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, hire, train, and coach staging and delivery associates to meet performance goals.
Conduct regular check-ins with logistics staging and delivery staff to ensure orders are properly staged and delivered on time.
Manage Logistics Coordinators and Supply Chain Analysts, providing direction and support as needed.
Customer Service and Issue Resolution:
Integrate with the customer service team to forecast customer needs and escalate requirements to demand planning.
Investigate delivery disputes by reviewing original orders and resolving issues effectively.
Equipment and Maintenance:
Ensure preventative maintenance is performed on vehicles and reefer units to maximize uptime and reliability.
Maintain vehicle transportation records and process bids for new equipment when needed.
Act as a back-up driver during scheduling gaps or emergencies.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inbound and outbound full goods transactions, ensuring 98% inventory accuracy in the Cin7 Core inventory system.
Monitor inventory levels and troubleshoot discrepancies to prevent supply chain disruptions.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure a safe work environment, complying with all quality and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse area, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of logistics or supply chain management experience, including supervisory roles.
Logistics Expertise: Proven ability to optimize delivery and staging operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Leadership: Demonstrated success in supervising and coaching teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
Process Optimization: Strong experience in streamlining processes to reduce costs and improve accuracy in logistics and transportation.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented with a proven ability to use data analysis to guide decisions and improvements.
Process Improvement: Demonstrated success in identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to enhance operations.
