Technical Business Analyst
Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the Technical Business Analyst will support complex, cross-functional technology initiatives across the IT portfolio, including ERP migration and other strategic technology projects. This highly visible role partners closely with key business stakeholders, project teams, and IT leadership to ensure effective requirements gathering, process analysis, disciplined solution delivery, and alignment with business strategy.
What will you do as a Technical Business Analyst
Lead the collection and translation of complex business requirements into detailed system and technical requirements
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on solution design and project activities
Lead and participate in aspects of system integration implementations including requirement gathering/refinement, data mapping, functional and UI/UX design, testing
Promote progress and desired outcomes on assigned projects
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather requirements, review progress, address blockers, and maintain alignment on priorities
Prepare and deliver business requirements documents, functional specifications, status reports, presentations, and supporting documentation as required
Ensure quality assurance of technology and/or process-based solutions by validating requirements, drafting and conducting relevant test cases, and verifying that deliverables meet organizational standards and business needs
Support change management activities, including training, documentation, and user support during and post implementation
Advise stakeholders on system best practices and recommend process improvements to drive efficiencies
Act as a key resource in all stages of SDLC and Project Life Cycle
Raise and escalate any issues and concerns with IT & Project related leadership

Do you have the Spark? Here’s what we’re looking for:
University degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; CBAP, CCBA or PBA an asset.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an ERP Implementation or enterprise technology initiatives
A self-starter possessing a solution-driven attitude and a results-oriented mindset
Strong verbal and written communication skills to influence positive outcomes for the organization
Experience or knowledge in accounting and financial processes is a strong asset, e.g. Month end processes, AP/AR/GL, inventory management, fixed assets, etc.
Experience with data migration, API integration, and role-based security
Demonstrated ability to convert complex requirements into clear technical specifications and testable designs
Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities while maintaining a focus on prioritization and quality.
Proven track record in successful requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution delivery for ERP and integration implementations
Experience in analyzing data, queries and reports to support root cause analysis of reported issues
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and IT service delivery
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
