You will ensure we’re staying on top of industry trends in loyalty and finance, and supporting the team in generating new content for our site and blog that support your holistic SEO strategy, as well as supporting our internal Paid Media teams to improve our SEM enablement using SEO learnings. Responsibilities: Developing and executing comprehensive search engine optimisation strategies to achieve business objectives. Monitoring and analysing website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation. Collaborate with content creators and digital marketing teams to develop and optimise high-quality, keyword-rich content for improved organic visibility. Executing link-building activities to ensure quality links from reputable sources. Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as content, design and product, to ensure optimal content performance. Collaborating with marketing teams to integrate SEO with other digital marketing initiatives for cohesive campaigns. Conduct thorough keyword research and SEO analysis to identify relevant target keywords and phrases. Develop and execute effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and SERP rankings. Optimise website content, meta tags, headers and URLs to ensure alignment with target keywords and enhance search engine crawlability. Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with the web development team to implement solutions for improved website performance and user experience. Conduct SEO audits, competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead of competitors in search rankings. Partner with our Digital Analytics team to track and analyse website traffic, user behaviour and conversion rates to assess the effectiveness of SEO strategies and make data-driven recommendations. Proactively monitor search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and new search features, adjusting strategies and roadmaps accordingly. Spearhead the implementation and validation of structured data and schema markup to maximize rich results in SERPs & AI optimization. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing or a related field. Relevant SEO certifications (such from Google, HubSpot and/or Semrush). 2+ years of experience as an SEO manager or a similar SEO-focused role. In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and digital marketing trends, with a strong understanding of the Indian search landscape. Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner and Google Analytics. Knowledge of A/B testing, local SEO and SEO reporting tools. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website optimisation platforms, like WordPress. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with SEM and/or Adobe and Google Analytics not a requirement, but strongly preferred This role reports into the Senior Manger, Performance Media, and will be collaborating with our IT, Analytics & Insights, Product, Client Services, Marketing Services & Marketing Operations teams, as well as the entire marketing department. Salary: $69,000.00 - $129,000.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents AIR MILES’ pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents AIR MILES’ expected target for the first year in this position.
