About the role Our growing team is looking for a Senior Scrum Master! About You Do you think that product development is like a team sport? What you'll do here: As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating, shaping, and reshaping our agile management method so that our teams remain engaged and high-performing. Act as Scrum Master for two teams. Guide the team and the organization regarding the use of best Agile practices and shape processes so they are helpful to the team. Train and coach teams to improve their performance and efficiency. Remove obstacles or help the team do so by connecting them with the right resources. Create a trusting and open environment where issues can be raised without fear of blame, judgment, or penalty, and that advocates remediation and problem-solving. Facilitate internal and external communications, improve transparency and disseminate information. Support and educate the product owner, especially in managing the product backlog. Lead by example. Collaborate with other Scrum Masters. Be part of the community of practice for Scrum Masters. What you bring to the table: Recognized Scrum Master certification. At 5 years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master and 8 years of experience in Agile product development. Good skills and knowledge in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. Experience with a variety of Agile approaches and concepts in a large-scale context. Knowledge of Atlassian suite tools, such as Jira and Confluence Bilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country. No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada. Profile sought: You are a friendly and motivated individual.
