Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Engineering and Plant Operations, the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an inventory of equipment and applicable job plans, as well as the scheduling of corrective and preventative maintenance and the tracking of completed work orders. This role is also responsible for coordinating operational projects for the Etobicoke General Hospital building infrastructure and grounds.
Accountabilities:
Develop and maintain the computerized maintenance management system software and to act as the “super user” to the organization.
Maintain a level of expertise in the purchasing and maintenance requirements of building service equipment.
Work with skilled trades to schedule work orders and distribute work load
Assist with procurement of materials and services required to efficiently complete work
Lead staff training related to CMMS and other related software; identify educational needs and developing training and support sessions to staff as required.
Balance work flow to individual trades based on availability and skill levels
Coordinate and ensure scheduling of Preventive Maintenance work following industry standards, best practice and legislated requirements.
Capable of developing an asset tagged data base for all infrastructure plant and equipment
Maintenance of demand work order database
Compile special and regular reports for ongoing trending and analysis.
Establish and maintain a complex filing system for equipment data, purchase requisitions, bid specifications, and work order forms.
Ensures up to date maintenance of documents, files and databases for historical reference, insurance and other purposes.
Qualifications
Completion of a community college diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum of three years of relevant experience
Health care setting experience preferred
Advanced computer and or data base training in CMMS systems
Knowledge and experience in large building systems and equipment preferred
Experience with Microsoft Project/PowerPoint/AutoCAD/Outlook/Excel
Advanced computer skills and understanding of data basing
Report preparation, presentation capabilities
Excellent phone, written and oral presentation skills
Ability to manage numerous complex tasks, prioritize and meet unpredictable deadlines
Ability to work independently and with little supervision
Additional Information
Hours: Currently Days, 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum: $79,521.00
Maximum: $99,391.50
