Position Description
Bridgenext is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support a marquee wealth management and insurance company’s Canadian operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, and will be responsible for building, customizing, and integrating Salesforce applications. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on best practices, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Build and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools
Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools (Amazon Connect experience preferred)
Align development with best practices, scalability, and security standards
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; perform unit testing and participate in peer reviews
Troubleshoot and optimize existing Salesforce implementations for performance and reliability
Work with cross-functional teams (Admins, Business Analysts, QA) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Workplace: Hybrid, requiring 3 days/week in Toronto office
Must Have Skills:
6+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components)
Familiarity with Sales, Service Cloud, Knowledge, and Contact Center operations
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits
Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Amazon Connect, middleware, and ETL tools
Experience with CRM Analytics & Skuid
Experience with Financial Service Cloud
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps QA integration
