What your day to day will look like: As Supervisor of Industrial Engineering, OpX and Continuous improvement of the Longueuil Manufacturing Center, you will have the opportunity to: Manage a team of professionals Work with the production teams and the Manufacturing Line Managers in an office and shop environment Manage and direct activities related to capacity studies and process standardization Develop and lead continuous improvement strategies in the shop Analyze the problems and data of the production environment to recommend solutions that meet the company's business needs Participate in the LRP strategy (Long Range Plan) and facilitate the investment approval process (eCAR) Supervise the management of major projects from the transformation plan Implement project risk management Propose manufacturing strategies through the networking with the different teams involved Prepare and lead forums for the major initiatives What you need to be successful: Must haves: Bachelor’s degree in operations management or engineering (industrial or other) A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in the manufacturing domain Demonstrated strategic and tactical leadership Strong communication and networking skills Ability to work in a team and adapt to a changing environment Proficient in project management skills and knowledge of the agile methodology Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology & tools Analytical, synthesis, and presentation skills Knowledge and skills of IT tools related to the task: Microsoft Office, Visio, MS-Project Assets: Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities Ability to map business processes and needs Basic CORE training SAP knowledge This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
