Job Title: Multimedia Specialist
Location: Hybrid- this position will require you to travel to different triOS
campus locations in Ontario.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Occasional evenings
Start Date: January 2026
The Opportunity:
The Multimedia Specialist supports the College’s brand and marketing initiatives
by producing creative assets across digital and print platforms. This role is
responsible for design, video editing, web graphics, and digital communications
that strengthen brand presence, support student engagement, and ensure
consistent application of brand standards.
It requires strong design ability, technical competence, and effective time
management, with the ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating
with team members across the organization.
What you'll be doing:
Design and Creative Production:
- Produce assets for digital and print channels including social content, event
materials, brochures, posters, presentations, and branded documents.
- Create production-ready files and templates in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
to support team efficiency and brand consistency.
- Design imagery, icons, and graphic elements that reflect brand standards,
accessibility requirements, and visual hierarchy.
- Edit video content for social, web, and internal communication, adding
branded motion elements and preparing files for varied formats.
- Resize and adapt assets for multiple platforms, ensuring files meet technical
requirements and maintain visual quality.
- Apply brand guidelines consistently while offering creative solutions that
enhance clarity, engagement, and user experience.
Digital Content, Campus Design, and Coordination:
- Support the creative development of campus refresh initiatives, environmental
design, and signage projects that strengthen brand visibility and student
experience.
- Prepare artwork and files for campus installations, ensuring proper sizing,
formatting, and vendor-ready specifications.
- Assist with coordinating timelines and stakeholder input to support rollout
of campus visuals, signage, and student-facing materials.
- Support web initiatives by creating web-ready graphics, assisting with light
CMS updates, and optimizing assets for performance and mobile responsiveness.
- Work with the Social Media and Community Specialist to create and adapt
assets for social channels and digital engagement initiatives, produce
creative variations for paid campaigns, remarketing, and landing pages, and
ensure all deliverables maintain consistent brand cohesion.
- Support the creating of video content for social media, web, advertising, and
internal communication, edit footage with branded captions, transitions,
titles, and motion graphics, and prepare final files in the correct aspect
ratios and formats for each platform.
- Occasionally visit campus locations to support the capture of content
including photography and short video segments, coordinate photo shoots with
students and staff, and gather authentic material that supports brand
storytelling across digital channels.
- Attend events such as graduation alongside other team members, support
content capture and on-site needs, and maintain flexibility to work
occasional evenings or weekends when required.
- Maintain organized file structures, version control, and support digital
asset library management.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while communicating progress and
escalation issues to supervisors when needed.
- Assist with photo sourcing, retouching, and basic visual editing to support
campaigns and campus projects.
- Support campaigns, events, and special projects across the organization with
a focus on visual quality, accessibility, and alignment with brand standards.
- Other duties as assigned, and which are in the best interests of the College.
What you bring to the position:
- Must have a portfolio demonstrating a range of design, print, web, and video
work.
- Diploma or degree in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related
field.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in multimedia production, graphic
design, or related role.
- Experience producing assets across digital, print, web, and video platforms.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop,
Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
- Experience using Canva for template-based and rapid production design.
- Understanding of web graphics, optimization, and basic HTML or CSS.
- Proven ability to edit and format video for social and web platforms.
- Excellent attention to visual balance, hierarchy, and layout execution.
- Ability to support on-site content capture, photography, and campus-based
events including occasional evening commitments.
- A reliable vehicle, and valid provincial driver’s license. This position will
require you to travel to different campus locations in Ontario.
