Job Description
The Heavy Vehicle Division's Pricing and Gross Margin Management team is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst who will play a diversified role within the group.
The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and adhering to the division's pricing and margin policies. As such, you will work in close collaboration with the Operations, Sales and Product Management teams. This position requires advanced analytical skills and the ability to draft reports and oversee multiple pricing and gross margin projects.
You will have to:
Analyze prices et gross margins of requested special prices submitted by the stores and distribution centers to ensure acceptable margins;
Produce monthly special prices reports and point out irregularities in the system and whether they are related to approval processes, gross margin or signed agreements;
Perform monthly analysis of promotional prices to determine if there are conflicts with regional pricing structure and propose new prices;
Researching and collect pricing data from all levels of distribution within the company, and from the competition, to propose solutions or corrections;
Suggest and collaborate on the implementation of regional adjustments and analyze the adjustments in place to ensure they are in line with the market and the company’s strategy;
Conduct and present analysis of sales and gross profits results and develop pricing strategies to maximize competitiveness;
Collaborate on variation projects related to price management.
Qualifications
To join our team, you need:
Diploma in administration, finance, logistics, economics, or another relevant field;
1 to 3 years of experience in price structure analysis;
Excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written. As part of your duties, you will be required to collaborate regularly with internal clients across Canada;
Strong analytical skills.
