This role ensures that insurance offerings deliver strong value to customers while driving financial benefits for the organization. It requires strategic partnership management, financial acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to support product development and enhance customer experience. In addition, the Senior Manager plays a critical role in optimizing product performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving innovation to meet evolving customer needs and business objectives. Accountabilities Product Strategy & Management Lead end-to-end management of embedded credit card insurance products, including design, financial management, and performance monitoring. Develop and execute strategies to optimize product economics and enhance customer experience. Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform product enhancements. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Collaborate with credit card product teams and external insurance partner to deliver integrated solutions. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate agreements to support product delivery and ongoing operations. Compliance & Risk Ensure all insurance offerings comply with regulatory and legal requirements. Partner with risk management, legal, and compliance teams to maintain governance standards. Process Improvement & Leadership Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. Manage and develop a direct report, fostering growth and engagement. Provide leadership and guidance to team members and cross-functional project teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred. 7+ years of experience in financial services, insurance, credit cards, or partnerships management. Strong negotiation skills and experience managing external vendors or partners. Proven ability to analyze financial data and drive profitability. Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Leadership experience with direct people management responsibilities. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
