About the Role
The Strategic Accounts Analyst is instrumental in identifying high-value opportunities within our client base by combining deep product insight and industry knowledge with a consultative, big-picture mindset. This role aligns client needs with UnionWare’s evolving capabilities, shaping strategic outcomes, informing product direction, and contributing to UnionWare’s long-term growth. Success is defined by the ability to foster strong client partnerships, uncover meaningful insights, and drive long-term organizational impact.
Essential Job Functions
Actively engage with current clients.
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and client relationships.
Facilitate strategic conversations to understand client challenges and priorities.
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of current clients.
Develop estimates and proposals based on the client’s requirements.
Maintain and follow the UnionWare Inside Sales process.
Schedule and present short product demonstrations for current clients.
Establish strong subject matter expertise on UnionWare’s products and the union sector.
Monitor incoming email and voicemail inquiries from clients and respond accordingly.
Identify opportunities to support client goals through deeper platform adoption.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and opportunity progress.
Share client feedback and emerging trends with Product and Leadership.
Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client needs.
Communicate relevant client engagement updates & opportunity insights with Leadership.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, new products, etc.
Works collaboratively with the Growth & Strategy team.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in account management, business analysis, or related roles.
Familiarity with CRM systems or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of strategic planning and consultative selling.
Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience with high-level planning.
Strong understanding of the union sector.
Ability to build trust-based relationships and facilitate strategic conversations.
Analytical mindset with a talent to assess complex client needs and translate them into actionable strategies.

Proficiency in documenting client needs, developing proposals, and articulating value.
