The Senior Liner Leader, reporting to the Operations Supervisor of Assembly, is responsible for end-to-end oversight of project production. This role ensures all jobs meet quality standards, lead times are met, and daily output from the Wood Shop and Assembly lines is achieved. The Senior Liner Leader also holds team members accountable for meeting production deliverables.
HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT YOU WILL DO
Uphold and model company values, including teamwork, communication, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Lead job setup and daily operations across the wood shop, assembly, and packing lines; direct line leaders and labour teams to meet production goals.
Manage materials, resource planning, and workflow accuracy through the ERP system, ensuring timely requests, transfers, and proper work-order completion.
Maintain project tracking boards with up-to-date QA results, timelines, performance metrics, and status updates to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Oversee production QA processes, ensuring accurate documentation, clear communication, and fast resolution of quality issues throughout all build stages.
Monitor and validate production data, efficiencies, and costing; ensure accuracy of hourly entries, run-time results, and Estimates vs Actuals.
Train, coach, and support line leaders and general labour staff; enforce safety, SOP compliance, tool care, and shop-floor standards.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Minimum 5 years of experience in a woodworking or assembly-focused production environment
Proficient with woodworking equipment (arm saws, table and chop saws, drill presses, and hand tools)
Strong ability to provide clear, real-time performance feedback
Proven supervisory, interpersonal, and people-management skills
Excellent organizational and training abilities
Skilled at identifying quality issues against samples and specifications
Competent computer skills, including use of the Harding Display ERP system (Global Shop)
Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures, including line start-up and close-out processes
Knowledge of health and safety policies; first aid certification considered an asset
Forklift and/or scissor-lift certification considered an asset (training available upon hire)
