Systems Assistant (Summer Term) – Antec Controls
We are looking for a student who is technically inclined, who thrives on new challenges, and who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:
Contributing to project scope definition and concept development.
Conceptualization, design, development, implementation, verification, and documentation of configurations, workflows, programs, and scripts.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure functionality is maintained for all users.
Facilitate training for staff on comprehension, navigation, and utilization.
Responding to system inquiries and the technologies it supports.
Writing clean and scalable code, following code best practices.
Troubleshooting and debugging issues as necessary.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering degree or a Technology program.
A high level of critical thinking, accountability, and adaptability.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills, with an eye for detail.
The ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables.
The ability to take initiative.
Passion for customer service excellence.
Experience with web and/or mobile application development is considered an asset.
