Great Gulf is seeking a talented and experienced Site Support Analyst to join our team in Toronto.
The Site Support Analyst is a key member of the Infrastructure team responsible for ensuring that all company field locations — including Sales Centers, Customer Care Centers, Construction Trailers, and Office Sites — are fully operational, secure, and compliant with our IT standards.
This is a highly hands-on, field-driven position. You will travel to sites using a company vehicle, perform installations, conduct audits, deploy hardware, resolve technical issues, and ensure each location maintains stable and secure connectivity. You will frequently collaborate with construction teams, site staff, vendors, and the Infrastructure team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Site Visits & Standards Compliance
Conduct regular site visits following established IT standards and checklists.
Verify WAN connectivity, modem configuration, and detect rogue or unnecessary broadcasted Wi-Fi signals.
Update site contact details, project/site codes, and documentation.
Ensure devices meet OS standards (e.g., Windows 11 compliance).
Capture photos of fiber runs, equipment layout, and site setups for audit records.
Update credentials, passwords, and equipment data in 1Password.
Verify UPS presence, proper cabling, and equipment power protection.
Complete and submit standardized site visit reports.
Network & Connectivity Setup
Coordinate ISP installations (Bell, Rogers) and verify final handoff.
Deploy, configure, and test Starlink hardware.
Install and configure Cradlepoint devices, antennas, SIM locks, and failover settings.
Run, terminate, and test Ethernet cabling (Cat6/Cat6a).
Install switches, access points, VoIP/Zoom Phone devices, and kiosk PCs.
Ensure cabling, network racks, and equipment layouts meet site standards (tidiness, labeling, and safety).
Hardware Installation & Maintenance
Install PCs, Kiosk PCs, monitors, printers/copiers, and digital signage.
Record printer/copier serials and update admin credentials.
Manage asset inventory, warranty tracking, and lifecycle processes.
Maintain company vehicle inventory of tools, cables, and hardware.
Operational Support & Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi or ISP connectivity issues.
Diagnose and replace faulty hardware.
Resolve Cradlepoint or Starlink failover issues.
Support printer/copier configuration and documentation.
Assist Sales Office staff with login/access validation as needed.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with ISP technicians.
Work with construction teams on trailer setups and relocations.
Maintain vendor and contractor contact information and schedules.
Documentation & Process Compliance
Maintain diagrams, checklists, equipment layouts, and site documentation.
Use ITSM tools to track tickets and updates.
Follow Infrastructure standards, change management, and security policies.
Support the improvement of site visit checklists and SOPs.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1–3 years of IT support, site support, field service, or infrastructure experience.
Strong hands-on experience with hardware installation, cabling, and networking equipment.
Knowledge of IP addressing, DHCP, VLANs, switches, Wi-Fi, and VPN concepts.
Experience with ISP hardware, Cradlepoint devices, or LTE/5G failover setups.
Strong documentation ability and attention to detail.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Office environment – sitting/working at desk/computer in a shared office space and/or remote working from home.
Ability to travel throughout the GTA using company vehicles.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position will require lifting of computer equipment (laptops, desktops, monitors, servers, etc.) on a regular basis.
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs, work on ladders, and safely handle tools.
It will also require the applicant to maneuver in tight spaces (i.e. under and around desks) in order to run cables and set up workstations.
