The University Health Centre (UHC) is a unit within the SSE portfolio that provides primary health care to the U of A community. The UHC provides comprehensive care through a combination of appointment based and same-day services with a multidisciplinary team.
Reporting to the Manager of the University Health Centre and as a part of the nursing team, the Registered Nurse is accountable for providing clinical nursing care and support at the UHC. Performing clinical assessments, providing acute patient care, assisting physicians with procedures, administering vaccinations, delivering instructional and health counselling information to patients, and providing administrative medical support are all functions of this role.
