Job Description
Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination and workforce supervision;
Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company standards;
Oversee scheduling, material deliveries, inspections, and daily site logistics;
Track project milestones and provide detailed progress reports to senior management;
Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges to minimize delays;
Maintain thorough and accurate site documentation, including logs, reports, and compliance records.
Qualifications
Minimum 20 years of experience in construction site supervision, with at least 5 years in hydroelectric or heavy civil projects;
In-depth knowledge of hydro project construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations;
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders;
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications;
Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera);
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation;
Must be available for both planned and unplanned inspections;
Field-based role requiring travel within Canada and/or U.S;
Work may include exposure to extreme weather conditions, rugged terrain, and remote locations.
