Responsibilities
Transporting residents to scheduled activities and other scheduled destinations as applicable
Assists residents during boarding and exiting the vehicle, and when they cross the street when the vehicle is stopped to ensure their safety.
Operates the vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws, organizational policies, and licensing requirements.
Ensuring the maintenance of the bus such as filling the gas tank and windshield washer fluid, checking tire pressure, checking the oil.
Ensures vehicles are regularly cleaned and sanitized, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Supports all related tasks during resident outings to ensure the continuity and the quality of the services.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record
1-2 years of experience as a driver.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in customer service is an asset.
Familiar with Bus safety procedures and processes
