Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Global Proposal Procurement (Estimation) team in the North American region. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in how the procurement team creates value in the project business development cycle, and the application of skills in data analytics, supplier management, and strategic Sourcing within a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the maintenance and enhancement of the NAM Price Book, ensuring accurate and current cost data for proposal development
Collect, analyze, and synthesize pricing data from multiple stakeholders including category management, procurement execution teams, and suppliers
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with proposal teams to understand cost requirements and deliver timely solutions
Partner with senior estimators to create comprehensive cost estimates and procurement strategies for project proposals
Generate detailed procurement analytics and reports to support data-driven decision making
Coordinate and facilitate supplier engagement activities, including technical presentations and capability assessments
Conduct supplier performance analysis focusing on key metrics including quality, delivery reliability, and cost competitiveness
Support the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives through data analysis and market research
Assist in the standardization of procurement estimation processes and best practices
Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance the efficiency of the procurement estimation function

Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Interest in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management
This internship will provide valuable exposure to global sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, and project tendering practices. The intern will work closely with experienced professionals and gain insights into the Procurement Estimation discipline as well as the environmental services industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing a education in Supply Chain Management/Professional certifications (ASCM, ISM, NISCL (formerly SCMAO) or commercial/application engineering
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily
Working Conditions:
This role will be performed in office on a hybrid working schedule, Monday-Friday.
Additional Information
Compensation:
The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $24-27/hr.
