Supervisor, Warehouse (West) (Non-Union)
Full-time, 35 hours/ week

Are you a proactive and organized leader with a passion for optimizing warehouse operations?
The Supervisor, Warehouse is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a multi-location warehousing environment. This role focuses on ensuring efficient material flow from receipt to disposal while collaborating with key stakeholders to meet internal customer needs safely and promptly.
What you’ll do
Operational Management:
Oversee the shipping, transportation, and delivery of goods.
Plan, maintain, secure, and organize warehouse space, including outside storage yards.
Implement improved methods of material handling, stock control, and packaging to enhance service efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and Health & Safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Inventory and Equipment Oversight:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders for effective inventory management.
Conduct periodic or special inventory audits and reconcile physical counts.
Manage key equipment repair programs, PCB storage and disposal programs, and PPE programs.
Leadership and Staff Development:
Plan, organize, and supervise staff while providing coaching, development, performance management, technical guidance, and advice.
Support departmental goals and objectives, leading and participating in projects and initiatives to ensure quality and timely completion within budget.
Continuous Improvement:
Research, recommend, and implement new or enhanced policies, procedures, and processes to improve operational effectiveness.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are
Education & Technical Knowledge
Diploma in Business Administration, Inventory Management, or equivalent work experience.
Must hold and maintain a valid Class “G” driver’s license.
Certification in APICS or equivalent work experience.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory management systems, including supervisory or leadership roles.
Experience in a unionized utility environment is an asset.
Skills/Abilities/Competencies
Strong understanding of inventory and warehouse management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Familiarity with material handling equipment and overhead crane operation (where applicable).
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and workforce regulations.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF scanning systems.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
