In this role, you will: Lead the S&OP process and ensure alignment with the Master Production Schedule. Develop and maintain build plans which balance customer demand, material availability, along with capacity constraints. Communicate risks and mitigation strategies to senior leadership regarding build and shipment plans. Collaborate cross-functionally to reduce lead times, optimize inventory levels, and improve schedule adherence. Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners and schedulers, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture. Set clear goals aligned with business priorities and provide regular feedback and career development support. Facilitate team meetings, performance reviews, and recognition initiatives to drive engagement and accountability. Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members in partnership with HR and Operations. Resolve material and capacity constraints by coordinating with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations. Ensure accurate and timely release of production orders and monitor progress against schedules. Analyze production data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement. Maintain planning documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations. Collaborate with department leads to allocate resources effectively. Anticipate capacity constraints and propose solutions. Create and analyze resource capacity charts. Create and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Provide delivery commitments and manage changes to customer orders. Coordinate with Procurement to ensure material availability and support expedited requests. What You Bring: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). 3–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling; leadership experience is an asset. Proficiency in MPS/MRP systems; APICS certification is a strong asset. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Excel; Power BI experience is an asset.
