- Role: Journeyperson & Apprentice Electricians
- Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta - Immediate start
- Shift: Varies based on project

- Start Date: Immediately after the onboarding process is complete
- Tickets Required: H2S Alive, First Aid, Fall Protection, Aerial Work
Platform, CSTS, CSO, ESTS - Arc Flash
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company environmental, heath, and safety policies and
procedures.
- Complete cutting, threading, bending, and assembling rigid, aluminum and
conduit systems.
- Install and maintain EMT and PVC piping systems, batteries, solar panels,
voltage regulators, MCC equipment, heat trace, and VFD’s.
- Assist and/or direct interpreting drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical
code specifications to better help execute electrical installation and
troubleshooting.
- Understand and inter-operate the most current Canadian electrical code book
and exercise the rules when applicable.
- Understand and execute basic circuit fundamentals, alternating current
circuit properties, heating and cooling systems, magnetic control and
switching circuits, three phase systems, transformers, machines, control and
switching/PLC, fire alarm systems, red seal programs, industry network, and
applications of electronics.
- Test electrical equipment and components for current, voltage and OHMS.
- Responsible for all administrative, material ordering, and QAQC documents
directly associated with the project at hand.
- Other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Indentured Apprentice or Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician.
- A valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract.
- Valid H2S, First Aid, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, CSTS, CSO, ESTS
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry in construction or maintenance is
considered an asset.
- Ability to work in various working conditions ranging from outdoors to
indoors in a variety of weather conditions and working from heights as
needed.
- A pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required prior to employment.
