Mathnasium, located in South Surrey is hiring an Education Coordinator to join its team.
The Education Coordinator is responsible for ensuring educational success of each student enrolled at the centre. They provide an exceptional learning experience for students and outstanding customer service to the families by building relationships and communicating student progress.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the Centre Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans
Maintain a very high level of customer service through constantly communicating with parents and sending regular student progress updates
Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
Mentor and support employee development by providing on-the-job training to instructional staff
Teach/tutor in-centre, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
This is a full-time position with from 1- 8 pm Monday to Thursday, and a few weekend hours on Sundays. Exceptional part-time candidates may be considered for job-sharing.

Qualifications:
Minimum bachelors degree, or a two year degree/diploma with an equivalent work experience
Passion for math and working with students
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Experience working in an educational environment
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
Strong English language written and oral communication skills
Eagerness to learn and be trained
Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities
Proficiency in computer skills
Customer service experience an assett

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
