Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40+ repair and service facilities located across the Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world-class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group. Q2 ALS manufactures high quality individual pump parts in the Oil and Gas Industry. We offer a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.
BASIC EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES
Every Q2 Artificial Lift Services employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Specific responsibilities include the following:
Leading by example by following established Quality, Health and Safety policies & procedures.
Showing respect and pride for facilities and equipment.
Being responsible – on time for work, and take breaks during designated times.
Carrying out other tasks from time to time as assigned by a supervisor or request for assistance as needed.
POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Engineering team in drafting, designing and everyday tasks.
Create and develop 3D models and 2D drawings using Inventor.
Assist in implementing quality assurance procedures for production and processes.
Maintenance of production drawings ensuring accuracy, organization and completeness including revision history.
Perform any other duties as assigned to ensure project goals and tasks are completed within established deadlines.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
0-2 years of drafting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in Inventor / SolidWorks is essential.
Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset.
Detail-oriented, well organized.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to work in a team environment in a variety of tasks.
Mechanically oriented.
