The Role
Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics is seeking a Creative Producer for our in-house
Film and Photo team, positioned within our Brand department. Reporting to the
Film and Photo Manager, you will be responsible for producing high-quality and
original content across all Lush platforms, including website ecommerce photo
and video, social content, event activations and brand documentaries. You will
do this in partnership with the Film and Photo Manager and our in house
Photographer and Videographer.
The Creative Producer oversees film and photo projects from start to finish,
ensuring they run smoothly and seamlessly, while reporting on progress to
stakeholders. You have a diverse range of photo and video experience and a deep
knowledge of the full production pipeline. You are adept at creating budgets and
schedules and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders to take a brief from paper
to screen whilst keeping costs and time in check. You like to get hands on with
production; helping to build sets, source props and ensuring the studio runs
smoothly.

Reporting to the Film & Photo Manager, the Creative Producer’s core
RESPONSIBILITIES will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Film and Photo production including the coordination
of the production team, talent and other personnel in partnership with
project managers
- Create and manage detailed schedules for all team deliverables
- Ensure that budgets and project plans are clear and realistic, requesting
additional budget if the scope of the creative requires it and/or discussing
with the Film & Photo team if restricted
- Communicate with all project partners and stakeholders to ensure that
expectations are aligned and clearly documented
- Work creatively with the team to ensure look and feel aligns to the brief and
art direction getting hands on as needed
- Select and communicate with external vendors, freelance talent, and in house
models to discuss availability and rates, and manage them on set
- Collaborate with global teams as needed, in particular for YouTube content or
Global Events
- Manage talent and location contracts. Work with the Legal team to ensure
production is executed safely for all parties involved
- Ensure that insurance, health and safety rules, copyright laws and agreements
are followed.
- Maintain data privacy expectations in partnership with our data protection
team
- Coordinate all Film & Photo spends. Ensure all freelancers are paid in timely
manner and correct paperwork is delivered to Finance
- Maintain Film and Photo studio logistics including the inventory database of
product and props, ordering, sourcing, and donating items as needed. This
includes management of new product as it arrives to studio
- Ensure assets being uploaded in post production align to DAM standards for
keywording, tagging and delivery
- Oversee the internal model database, sending out casting calls and ensuring
hours are logged and payment is made
- Support and coordinate on projects using external production companies
- Travel to photoshoot locations as required, sometimes at short notice,
generally once or twice per quarter but sometimes more
You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 4+ years of experience in a comparable production or project management role
within an agency or in-house creative team
- Proven experience managing production budgets and schedules
- Experience producing a wide range of content types (ecommerce, social,
events, doc etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing
priorities
- Eye for trends and an ability to work with art directors and team to create
and build sets
- Familiarity with project management software and Digital Asset Management
(DAM) systems
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with both cross-functional internal teams
and
external vendors
- Ability to give concise feedback and maintain brand guidelines
- Passion for Lush products and an eye for quality
- Ability to travel to and from photoshoot sites as needed

This salary range is based on an assessment of the local market and may vary
depending on the successful candidate's location. This range is based on base
salary and does not include additional bonus program and total rewards
eligibility.
Base Salary Range
$75,000—$80,000 CAD
