The Nutrition Associate assists in all areas of Food Service operation. Primary duties include but are not limited to collecting patient meal selections; tray assembly; nourishment, enteral feeding and formula preparation; meal and nourishment delivery to patients; tray collection; diet changes; dishwashing; cleaning and customer service.
Ability to bend, lift and push
Ability to read, write and understand English
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently with a minimal amount of supervision
Ability to effectively communicate with several different areas including Nutrition Services, unit staff and supervisors
Ability to function in a team environment
Good decision-making skills
Food Handlers Certificate
Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
