Assistant Director, Rooms
Providing engaging, sincere, personalized service is one of the ways our Colleagues and Leaders are turning moments into special memories for our guests at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Showcase your leadership and interpersonal strengths as the Assistant Director of Rooms, where you will oversee our Front Office, Fairmont Gold, Guest Services, Ski Valet, Concierge and Luxy Arrival Experience teams.
Salary Range:
$88,000 - $95,000 per annum, dependent on experience and education
Job Duties Include:
Elevate the overall arrival experience by developing the role of the Luxury Arrival Experience Coordinator
Lead by example, spending time in the operation coaching colleagues on luxury service standards and welcoming guests. Enact and lead hotel teams in recognizing loyalty guests, return guests, VIPs & Owners
Become the ALL-Loyalty champion, conducting quarterly loyalty training for all Rooms departments
Develop, implement and execute the Luxury Suite Experience Program
Handling of guest comments and complaints, ensuring guests needs are exceeded
Responsible for recruitment, development and performance management of all reports
Organizes, co-ordinates and supervises training, conducting regular training sessions and communications meetings
Responsible for all details of employee administration, payroll forecasts, and payroll administration on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Maximize room revenue through participating in yield management meetings and implementing supporting agreed upon Revenue Management strategies and practices
Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous leadership experience required in a Rooms department
Previous Property Management System experience required
Knowledge of security equipment, fire suppression, emergency response & VIP protection procedures
BC Security Services License
BC Driver's License with clean driver's abstract
Level 2 First Aid Certificate
