Job Description: The Finance Business Partner (FBP) provides leadership, direction and implementation, including development and execution of operational plans, the align to the strategic plan and health authority priorities and directives. The Finance Business will:
Create operational lines of sight that connect to the goals and objectives of the SHA
Support strategy through the development and execution of operational and business plans, including cascading, monitoring, reporting, and course correction of same
Develop partnerships and work closely with system and community partners
Develop strategies and tactics to effectively and efficiently support and achieve the portfolio's strategic initiatives and the Saskatchewan Health Authority's strategic plan
Develop, manage and have accountability for the portfolio's budget
Serve as a key advisor on portfolio financial functions and issues
Contribute to the strategic discussions and decision-making processes of the senior leadership and operational leadership teams and support the execution of strategies with clear, actionable steps that optimize the organization's talents, structure, process and culture
Be responsible to the financial lead for provincial wide projects/ initiatives as required by the portfolio
Provide learning opportunities about finance, accounting and the current business environment
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business with Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
Licensed and in good standing with professional association and/ or regulatory body, if applicable
Experience: 5+ years' experience at a senior financial level, in similar areas of complexity and scope
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Know of the healthcare system in Saskatchewan
Has demonstrated ability to coach and develop others
Has demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to integrate clinical knowledge and experience into activities to enhance clinical practice
Demonstrated computer proficiency
Basic knowledge of the LEAN management system
