The Job Responsibilities
We are hiring a Marketing Manager, Safety Products in the greater Toronto area.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive awareness, consideration, and demand for the assigned portfolio. This position supports the sales team and acts as the local product expert.
Main Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy & Positioning:
Define and maintain the marketing strategy for the assigned portfolio, including product positioning and value propositions.
Collaborate with regional and global product management to localize messaging for Canadian markets.
Develop and execute new product launch plans
Develop and execute pricing strategy
Conduct and support new product sales trainings for sales channel partners
Campaign Development & Execution:
Develop and execute annual marketing plan to include marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels.
Manage lead generation initiatives and monitor campaign performance metrics.
Develop and support sales channel partner promotion programs.
Market Intelligence:
Understand the markets for the assigned portfolio.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales team to support pipeline growth and customer engagement.
Coordinate with Draeger Service, Academy and Technical Support to ensure that there is adequate customer support for the current and future portfolios.
Provide product feedback to regional and global product management teams ensure the best fit to Canadian market requirements.
Content & Communication:
Develop marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and digital assets of responsible portfolios
Ensure compliance with corporate branding and regulatory requirements.
Budget & Reporting:
Manage marketing budget for the portfolio and report ROI on campaigns.
Monitor portfolio performance and provide reports as requested for leadership.
Act as local product and application expert:
Support Quality Department for complaints and Field Corrective Actions (TSBs)
Provide Sales support as required
Support RFP process
Performs other duties as needed and assigned.Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university or the equivalent in education, training and experience.
Five or more years of experience in industrial product marketing
Five or more years of experience in safety products, including breathing apparatus, gas detection, or in a related safety or instrumentation industry
Previous emergency response or fire services experience preferred
Advanced Microsoft excel skills and SAP knowledge
