- $51.06 Job Summary Reporting to the Full Time Facility Supervisor, the Part
Time Facility Supervisor is accountable for supervision of the facility, general
public and part-time staff. This includes responding to customer enquiries,
requests, complaints, or concerns, assigning of tasks to part-time staff,
management of emergency situations, and supervision of banquet hall functions to
ensure compliance with facility and municipal alcohol policy regulations. The
Facility Supervisor is expected to complete appropriate reports (ie:
accident/incident, function summary) and monitors energy management controls to
ensure customer comfort and assist in achieving facility energy conservation
goals. Job Duties Include Supports Corporate Customer Service standards by
maintaining an excellent level of customer service through the timely response
to feedback and requests for action by customers, resolving issues to the
expectations of customers where achievable. Administering Town procedures as
they relate to addressing accidents/incidents, emergency building evacuation
response. Assisting Facility Manager/Supervisor with full time Operator schedule
coverage (ie: vacation, illness, overtime, etc.). Reporting –accident/incident
reports, customer feedback. Qualifications/Skills Completion of Grade 12
diploma. Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a recreation facility/municipal
environment in a supervisory capacity and/or a combination of training,
education and experience deemed equivalent. Current Standard First Aid with CPR
C + AED Certification. Valid Class ‘G’ Ontario driver's license with a clear
driver's abstract. Certified Pool Operator certification. Basic Refrigeration
certification. Effective skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook). Knowledge of recreation database programs (ActiveNet). Knowledge of
Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations. Knowledge of Public
Pool/Public Spa Regulations and pool/arena operations. Self-motivated, positive,
confident and approachable. Committed to quality customer service and innovation
to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Excellent Interpersonal skills,
mediation and conflict resolution skills. Able to work a variety of shifts
including days, afternoons and weekends. Able to provide a clear Vulnerable
Sector Check that is current (completed in the last six months), upon being
hired. Nice to Have B-Ticket Refrigeration certification considered an asset.
Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset. Knowledge of building
automation systems considered an asset. Certified Ice Technician or Safe Ice
Resurfacer Operator certification considered an asset. What is Offered to Staff

position. Hours of Work: This is a non-union position that works day, evening
and weekend shifts and the successful candidate must be available to work up to
