Position Summary
The Clinical Practice Leader, under the direction of the Director of Growth and Operations, will act as a clinician, consultant, educator and researcher to support the all Divisions and National Service Centre (NSC) departments in the delivery of quality care and services, which is compliant with internal and external professional practice standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a resource and provide guidance to the Divisions and NSC departments business, operational and clinical staff, as requested, to ensure compliance with all relevant federal and provincial legislated standards or professional practice as well as internal polices.
Serves as a Member of the Clinical/Quality Response Team (CQRT)
Demonstrate and share knowledge of Standard of Practice guidelines of Provincial regulating body.
Liaise with Provincial regulating body as required.
Review, research, edit and disseminate Bayshore's policies and procedures, and clinical management system, to ensure accuracy and currency with best practice.
Lead clinical projects identified by the Director of Clinical Programs
Work on projects in collaboration with Divisions and NSC Departments, as approved.
Conduct clinical analysis and research on best practice and clinical issues
Active leadership role in the design, implementation, adoption and sustainability of integrated digital health systems (e.g. electronic medical records, portals, etc.), for professionals and paraprofessionals,
Uses knowledge of integrated digital health systems to drive greater efficiency in the utilization of those systems for the delivery of safe, high quality evidence-based care.
Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
All duties and responsibilities of this position will be performed with consideration to client safety and well-being.
Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel

Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Masters in a health related field is preferred such Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is required or equivalent regulatory body.
Pay Range: $67,200 - $84,000 per annum
Experience:
Solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing
Experience in the development of community based care and client teaching programs
Knowledge of theoretical frameworks and research application.

Confidence and sound judgment in dealing with a variety of health care providers, including nurses, managers and staff of other disciplines.
Exceptional clinical skills, ability to work collaboratively, assume leadership responsibilities, and communicate effectively.
Demonstrates basic clinical analysis and informatics competencies E.G. device, application and information communication technology basic skills.
Some travel to branch locations throughout Canada is require for both positions and the ability to speak French is considered an asset.
