The Client:

Recognized for its innovative leadership and collaborative culture, the organization is looking for a skilled communications professional to support its CEO through strategic messaging and impactful thought leadership.

What you will achieve in this role:

Shape and elevate executive voice and thought leadership in alignment with corporate priorities.
Develop strategic messaging that builds confidence in the organization's vision, reputation, and performance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create compelling content across various platforms, including speeches, remarks, internal communications, and digital channels.
Play a key role in positioning the CEO as a visible and authentic leader, both internally and externally.
Contribute to high-level communications planning and execution that advances the company's brand and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Messaging \& Writing:

Craft high-impact speeches, talking points, op-eds, and thought leadership pieces for the CEO.
Tailor communications for diverse internal and external audiences, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and senior leaders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Strategic Communications:

Support end-to-end development of CEO communications initiatives, including research, writing, editing, and production.
Partner with cross-functional teams to amplify messages through appropriate channels.
Contribute to social media content strategy and digital storytelling efforts for the executive office.

Stakeholder Engagement \& Collaboration:

Work closely with corporate communications, media relations, and internal engagement teams to ensure message consistency.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on matters related to tone, positioning, and narrative development.

What you must bring to this role:

8 years of experience in corporate communications, journalism, or agency setting.
Proven experience writing for executives, including speeches and leadership messages.
Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills with a strong grasp of tone and brand voice.
Strong awareness of media, digital communications, and executive social media trends.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
Flexibility to work evenings or weekends on occasion as business needs require.
