Position Information
This dynamic role is the driving force behind delivering innovative technology solutions to clinicians and staff across all campuses. As the main point of contact for our expanding group of regional partner hospitals, the Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing our shared Microsoft 365 and ServiceNow platforms and end-user technology fleets. They will also advance the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies like Co-Pilot, aimed at improving employee engagement and productivity.
Key projects in this role involve building new partnerships with regional healthcare organizations, thereby expanding our network and improving service delivery. The Manager will oversee day-to-day departmental operations, including budgeting and business objectives, developing workflow operations, establishing new standards of practice/service for the department or program, ensuring the quality of services, and working with their leadership team to improve operations.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor degree in a related field;
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in an IT client service environment;
- Progressive leadership experience is required;
- Superior technical/analytical skills required for decision-making of complex systems and departmental issues;
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills to effectively handle sensitive issues and to manage and motivate staff;
- Organizational and effective time management skills to prioritize work of self and others and to meet unpredictable/short deadlines;
- Management training and experience in operations management;
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, systems and networks;
- Experience in leading and motivating a team of IT support or service delivery professionals;
- Planning, organizing, and managing IT service delivery projects;
- Proven track record of managing client relations and IT service delivery;
- Knowledge of hospital administration policies and procedures and human and financial resources.
You will stand out with:
- Experience working in the hospital (preferred) or healthcare sector in Ontario;
- Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level);
- Microsoft Modern Work experience including Microsoft 365 Certified certifications;
- Project management experience and certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2);
- Cybersecurity experience and certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP);
- Organization change management experience and certifications (e.g., PROSCI);
