Description: About us: Your opportunity: Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
- Providing detailed information on Tri-Campus programs, procedures, policies and deadlines
- Determining logistical details and activities for events and programming, including the coordination and delivery of evening and weekend on campus programming and provide general support to Athletics \& Recreation initiatives in the Tri-Campus Portfolio, including the Tri-Campus League
- Resolving issues within the scope of the role and escalating problems as required
- Acting as the first point of contact for a variety of program supportservices in a highly customer service orientated environment
- Disseminating information
- Formatting and maintaining communication templates
- Serving as a resource to others by providing job-related guidance and ensuring that facilities and equipment meet the highest standard for play and player safety
Essential Qualifications:

Advanced College Diploma (3 years), preferably in Physical Education, Recreation or Sports Management. Must successfully complete a current recognized Standard First Aid, AED, and CPR certificate within the first 3 months of employment.

A minimum of two years of related experience in a customer service orientated position in a sport and recreation environment.

Familiarity with athletic facilities, equipment and/or programs.

Experience de-escalating conflict/stress environments.

Experience with athletic recreation program delivery and familiarity with post-secondary recreation and intramural programs.

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict management skills, ability to exercise good judgement and initiative, ability to resolve problems.

Display an understanding of diversity and equity issues.

Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate activities; proven ability to collaborate and participate effectively within a team; commitment/passion for the continuum of programs, enthusiasm and skill in mentoring student leaders.
