Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Oversee and guide a team of 5 to 10 AP clerks, offering ongoing coaching, training, and support.
Invoice and Payment Processing: Review and validate incoming invoices, manage payment cycles, address discrepancies, and evaluate new supplier accounts.
Vendor Communication: Act as a point of contact for suppliers to resolve payment issues and ensure strong working relationships.
Process Optimization: Continuously seek ways to streamline workflows, enhance accuracy, and improve DPO (Days Payable Outstanding).
Unvouched Purchase Orders: Monitor and ensure timely processing of supplier invoices related to unvouched POs.
Qualifications
In-depth understanding of AP workflows and financial controls
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
Analytical and solutions-focused approach
Bilingual communication skills (French and English)
