This role is part of the ERP Business Systems and Group Finance team who service our customers with direct support, training, implementations of projects, process improvements, and application management solutions.
This role will benefit those who have a financial background and like to take on new challenges to service customers in business, who possess great communication and service skills, and are equipped with problem-solving skills using ERP and systems.
Responsibilities:
- A good portion of the role will be spent working on projects and improvements to enhance user and business experiences, which may require gathering, scoping, designing, documenting, solving, and mapping solutions as needed.
- Collaborate with implementations and project execution, ensuring best practices and standardizations are achieved.
- Act as the first point of contact for support functions with a centralized helpdesk covering a global zone, using helpdesk tools, emails, phone, and walk-ins.
- Utilize communication skills to train users, schedule, and maintain training material including documentation, online training, and e-learning packages for the application portfolio.
- Provide expert-level business and technical support internally and externally, which may require troubleshooting, reproducing, resolving, report authoring, or optimizing processes, utilizing financial strengths to assist business departments.
- Administer user access controls and conduct access reviews.
- Manage vendor issues that are escalated to vendors.
- Perform ad hoc work on other Group Projects as needed.
- Follow internal and best practice controls to uphold audit practices.
- Travel as required.
- Prioritize the needs of each request by operation and users, in conjunction with day-to-day tasks and project deadlines, ensuring end-user efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications, with financial and supply chain qualifications preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in supporting business roles, preferably with Pronto.
- Proven business acumen knowledge, training, and service helpdesk experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, helpdesk utilities, and reporting tools.
Experience:
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Pronto or other ERP applications.
- Well-developed skills in business systems and business knowledge; problem-solving and analytical skills; communication, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload from a broad user base.
- Ability to work constructively in a team environment.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to providing quality services.
