If you're someone who cares deeply about how research informs real-world decisions---and you're ready to contribute at a strategic level---this could be for you.
Open Roles:
- Qualitative Researcher -- Skilled in interviews, ethnography, usability studies, diary studies, etc. You're someone who can listen deeply and uncover insights that matter.
- Quantitative Researcher -- Fluent in survey design, experimental design, statistical modeling, segmentation. You know your way around data and how to communicate what it means.
- Mixed Methods Researcher -- Equally at ease with a spreadsheet or a discussion guide. You can integrate multiple sources of insight into a single, powerful story.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead end-to-end research studies (generative + evaluative)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, PM, data science, engineering)
- Translate findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Present research to stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and nuance
- Adapt methods as needed---this is not one-size-fits-all work
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in either qual, quant, or both (depending on the role you're applying for)
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, HCI, behavioral science, data science, etc.)
- Demonstrated impact through research---whether that's in tech, academia, consulting, or elsewhere
- Strong communication skills---both in how you present findings and how you collaborate with others
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments is a plus
Logistics:
- Projected Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Temp to perm (6 months temp, with possible extension)
- Hours: 40 hour per week
- Onsite/offsite: 100% Remote
- Pay Rate: CAD30- CAD45/hourly DOE
